Before leaving for Miami, we all knew that we really wanted to meet up with Alec Bradley since we are such big fans of all of their sticks. So, before leaving, we reached out to our friend Paul, who is good friends with the team @ AB (and he also has an AB tattoo…which shows his devotion to the brand). Paul was kind enough to introduce us up with George Sosa (VP of Sales at AB), who we made plans with.

When we arrived, we were greeted at the door by a few people and George came right out to meet us. Right away, he asked us what we wanted to smoke, so we all chose to have a Tempus (a group fav) and then we went to sit down in the board room where all of the testing action goes down. It was great to hear some of his back story and that he too (like Juan from Perdomo) came from a Navy background. George actually previously worked at Perdomo and when he left, helped Juan to get his job at Perdomo, so there is a lot of friendship between companies.

After lighting up and chatting for a few minutes, George took us for a tour through the facilities and introduced us to everybody at AB. We got to meet the design team that comes up with the awesome logo and bands that AB produces, then the people that take care of our local┬ádistributors, then back to the shipping dock where all of the crates come in and send out. Side Note: we thought it very funny that the crates come in from Nicaragua with the writing “Alex Bradley” on the wrapping.

Again, we are so thankful for George showing us around and spending some time with the pair group. He was even so generous as to give us all AB hats, cutters and a lighter! We snapped some pics along the way. Unfortunately a lot of them didn’t turn out very well, but the ones that did are below.

If you’re ever in the area, make sure you stop in and see what AB is up to. George will never be short of jokes for ya!
